used by this publisher.

Gengyo, Hiroshige II,

Kunisada II, Kuniteru II,

 Kunitsuna, Kuniyoshi,

Toyokuni III, Yoshifuji,

Yoshikazu,

Yoshimori, Yoshitora

As early as 1855 or

Carvers who worked for this house include Hori Sennosuke in 1855, 1859-1863; Hori Koma on Yoshitora in 1860. These are the only two carvers' names we could find so far who have worked with this publisher. Mostly it was the work of Hori Sennosuke and the vast majority of those prints illustrated works by Toyokuni III.

Dr. Marks notes: "As early as 1832, Ebiya Rinnosuke was in business as a fan merchant, issuing fan prints." In the 1840s they were printing standard oban sized prints mainly by Kuniyoshi and Kunisada. By 1851 "We know that... he was situated in the same shop as his fellow publisher Enshūya Matabei. An earlier address for Ebiya is not known and he might have actually joined the established Enshūya when he had started his business. Already in 1845, both publishers were engaged in two co-operational projects..." working with Kuniyoshi, Hiroshige and Kunisada. "Sealed as Ueki Rinnosuke since 1876, Ebiya was in business until c. 1895, however not exceedingly active." Quoted from: Japanese Woodblock Prints: Artists, Publishers and Masterworks 1680-1900, p. 280. Hisako Kobayashi

Hisako Kobayashi noted that as of December 25, 2014 that the Ritsumeikan Art Research Center Database recorded 38 prints by Kunisada/Toyokuni III published by Ebiya Rinnosuke, 52 by Kuniyoshi, 5 by Hiroshige, but none by Toyokuni I.
